<p>Prohibitory orders extended in the city of Belagavi as tension has gripped few communally sensitive localities after election results were announced particularly during celebrations.</p>.<p>Stone pelting was reported and a vehicle was set ablaze.<br /><br />Prohibitory orders under section 144 have been extended till 18th morning said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Seema Latkar.</p>.<p>"Situation is under control. Extending of prohibitory has not gone well with winning candidate, supporters and party worker who are in celebratory mood," said Latkar. </p>
