Each year the Reading Challenge encourages children to read six or more books of their choice with collectable incentives and rewards and a certificate for every child who completes the challenge.

The 2009 Reading Challenge has a theme called Quest Seekers, which will help young readers discover the joy of reading and nurture an interest in reading and books.
The programme, which started on September 15, will conclude on November 14, 2009. It is open for children in the age group 5 to 13 years only. Registration will be done on a ‘first come first serve’ basis.

How to take part?

* You have to be a member of British Library, Bangalore.
* Those who register as new members, renewals of YLE and family members can register  for this programme by paying Rs 1,000.
Options and entitlements  Separate QuestSeekers animated  membership card (one)  along with membership card
* You can borrow one extra book from the QuestSeekers collections.
