Goa’s acting Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on March 16 said that BJP will soon form its government in Goa. “We have got a majority in Goa. BJP government will be formed soon. I came to meet and seek the blessings of PM Modi and others,” said Sawant.
His statement came after meeting with PM Narendra Modi along with top leaders of the party. The BJP emerged as the single largest party in Goa, winning 20 seats in the 40-member state Assembly, leaving Congress with 11 seats at a distant second position.
