Actor and politician Ravindra Kishan Shukla, a.k.a. Ravi Kishan leads Gorakhpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh with 3,01,111 votes in Lok Sabha elections. Samajwadi Party's Kajal Nishad trailed as she bagged 2,62,331 votes.

Contesting for the BJP, Ravi Kishan had won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from the same constituency, following his switch to BJP from Congress in 2017. He had defeated Rambhual Nishad by a lead of over 3,01,664 votes.
