Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 | Two more pollsters predict a Mahayuti win in polls

New Delhi: Two more exit polls on Thursday predicted a clear edge for the BJP-led 'Mahayuti' in Maharashtra with both giving the Maha Vikas Aghadi just around 100 seats.

Axis My India poll gave Mahayuti consisting of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP 178-200 out of 288 seats while the MVA was predicted to win 82-102 seats. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi is unlikely to win a seat while others could grab 6-12 seats.

Party-wise break showed that BJP may win 98-107 seats while Shiv Sena could get 53-58 and NCP 25-30 while smaller parties in the alliance could get 2-5 seats.

In MVA, Congress could get 28-36 seats while Shiv Sena (UBT) is likely to get 26-32 and NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) 26-30 and smaller parties 2-4.

Today's Chanakya predicted the BJP-led alliance to win 175 (+/-11) while MVA could win 100 (+/-11) and others 13 (+/-5).

On Wednesday, most of the exit polls predicted victory for Mahayuti while two gave MVA the edge.
