Aamir Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' gets CBFC clearance, to release on June 20

Aamir Khan starrer 'Sitaare Zameen Par' has officially been cleared by the CBFC and is all set to release in theatres on June 20, 2025.

The spiritual sequel to the beloved 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, Sitaare Zameen Par nears its release and the anticipation for the movie is sky rocketing.

The trailer has already given audiences a touching glimpse into a world brimming with love, laughter, and happiness. And now, adding to the excitement, comes yet another big update, the film has received final clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Sitaare Zameen Par has officially been cleared by the CBFC and is all set to release in theatres on June 20, 2025. As the film has got clearance from the censor board, This is indeed yet another update that heightened the excitement for the film's release.

Aamir Khan Productions presents 10 rising stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar. Directed by RS Prasanna, who previously directed Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, is now returning with the one of the biggest collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions' Sitaare Zameen Par.

Made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen Par stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles along with the 10 rising stars in key roles. The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

The screenplay is written By Divy Nidhi Sharma. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with B. Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka as producers. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film will be released in theatres only on 20th June, 2025.
