'Coolie' FDFS: From bursting crackers to full house bookings, Rajinikanth fans set the bar high

Finally, the theaters opened their doors for the much-awaited Coolie FDFS (First Day First Show) at 09:00 am in Tamil Nadu. And as expected, the ardent fans of Rajinikanth made no stone unturned to make the movie a festival.

From bursting crackers to dancing to the dhol beats with the chant of ‘Thalaivar… Thalaivar’, the jubilant scenes outside the theaters across Tamil Nadu are making waves on social media. Rajinikanth’s return to the silver screen as ‘Deva’ is being welcomed by the FDFS mania that is sweeping across the globe.

Viral visuals from around the world are taking social media by storm, creating a massive stir on social media. Netizens are going gaga over Rajinikanth’s fierce Deva avatar in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s standalone film.

With a star-studded cast, including major stars like Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Soubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan, the movie promises to be a crowd-puller and is already generating huge attention from all quarters. Sources suggest that, irrespective of initial reviews, the show tickets are flying off the shelf like hot cakes.

Fans have taken to X and other platforms to share screenshots of fully booked halls in their respective cities. Some of Rajini's fans also held prayers for the success of the film, slated to have been made on a big budget.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie also stars bigwigs like Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Upendra and others. The ensemble includes Soubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan. It has music by Anirudh Ravichander and is backed by Kalanidhi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures.
