Kajal Aggarwal to play the leading lady in Nagarjuna's film with director Praveen Sattaru

This will be Kajal Aggarwal's first movie with Nagarjuna

Noted filmmaker Praveen Sattaru took to Twitter on Thursday (March 18) to confirm that actor Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the leading lady in his film with Nagarjuna. The movie is touted to be an action-drama and will mark the Criminal hero's first collaboration with the 'Punjabi Kudi'.

Kajal garnered a fair deal of attention when she acted opposite Chiranjeevi in the 2017 release Khaidi No 150. Her chemistry with the 'Megastar' received rave reviews, emerging as a highlight of the flick. It remains to be seen whether her popularity benefits Nagarjuna's movie.

Kajal, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. Her eagerly-awaited Telugu movie Mosagallu, co-starring Vishnu Manchu, hit the screens on Friday (March 19), receiving rave reviews from fans. She was also seen in the Hindi movie Mumbai Saga, which released in theatres alongside Mosagallu. The Sanjay Gupta-helmed biggie featured her as the leading lady opposite John Abraham and highlighted the dark side of the underworld. The actioner has a star-studded cast that includes Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar and Rohit Roy.

She will soon be seen in the Koratala Siva-directed Acharya, which reunites her with Chiranjeevi. The film is touted to be an actioner with religious undertones and will hit the screens on August 13. Kajal also has director Shankar's magnum opus Indian 2, a sequel to the 1996 classic Indian/Hindustani, in her kitty. It has piqued the curiosity of fans as it marks her first collaboration with actor Kamal Haasan. The film has an impressive cast that includes Rakul Preet and Siddharth.

The biggie was supposed to release sometime next year but the shoot has been put on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions.

'Nags', on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Wild Dog, He also has the Bollywood biggie Brahmastra, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the lead pair, in his kitty.
