<p>Mohanlal starrer "Pulimurugan" has become the first Malayalam film to enter the Rs 100 crore club.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The adventure film made with a budget of Rs 25 crore, deals with man animal conflict with Mohanlal in the lead role of Murugan, a hunter.<br /><br />Bengali actor Kamalini Mukherjee essays the role of his wife Myna. Mohanlal, who is busy shooting in Rajasthan, in a Facebook post today revealed that the film had entered the Rs 100 crore club.<br /><br />"I am happy to share with you that 'Pulimurugan' becomes the first Malayalam film to enter 100 crore club', he said.<br /><br />The actor also thanked the entire crew, particularly director Vysakh, producer Tomichan Mulakupadam and stunt choreographer Peter Hein for their seamless effort in making the film a "big success."<br /><br />The film, which was released in Kerala on October 7, has been running to packed houses since then.<br /><br />Its opening day collection itself had crossed Rs four crore from the Kerala box office, making it the highest opening day gross for a Malayalam film.<br /><br />"Pulimurugan" has also been released overseas, including the UK, Europe, UAE and GCC countries.</p>
