Sri Sri Ravi Shankar biopic update: 'Narcos' team joins Vikrant Massey in 'White'

An independent industry source revealed, "Contrary to the reports of being a life story of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar, the movie is set against the backdrop of the 52-year-long brutal civil war of Colombia. The team will be shooting at real locations in the country and has hired the same crew that worked on the globally popular web series, Narcos.”

“Right from the production crew, to the other key technical members, White will boast of a huge international crew, who have previously worked on Narcos. This stands in line with the vision of making a global project on the efforts of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar in resolving the 52-year civil war of Colombia,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Vikrant has begun his preparation to play Shri Shri Ravi Shankar on the big screen, immersing himself in reading sessions and undergoing intensive acting workshops with the film’s writing and direction team. Apart from this, Vikrant Massey has an impressive slate of upcoming movies lined up.
