<p>BJP president JP Nadda said that the people of West Bengal had decided to say “namaste and tata” (goodbye) to Mamata Banerjee in the Assembly elections.</p>.<p>Targeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in two back-to-back rallies on Saturday, he said that there would be comprehensive development in the State after lotus blooms in Bengal. The BJP president asked why does the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo get so annoyed with slogans of ‘Jai Shree Ram.’</p>.<p>“Wherever I go in Bengal, I see the photos of ‘Pishi' (aunt as BJP sarcastically calls Mamata) and ‘Bhaipo’ (nephew as BJP refers to her nephew Abhishek Banerjee) with their hands folded. Mamata didi the people of Bengal have decided to say ‘namaste’ and ‘tata’ to you,” said Nadda. He was speaking at an event Sahapur in Malda district held to mark the conclusion of BJP’s ‘Krishak Suraksha Abhiyan’. It’s too late for such tactics,” said Nadda.</p>.<p>He said that if the farmers of Bengal “bless” Prime Minister Narendra Modi then lotus would bloom in the State and “comprehensive development” of farmers would be ensured.</p>.<p>“If you bless Modi ji and make lotus bloom in Bengal then lotus will bloom in Bengal and farmers will see comprehensive development,” said Nadda.</p>.<p>Kicking off BJP’s ‘Prarivartan Yatra’ in Nadia district later in the day Nadda slammed the Chief Minister for not implementing the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat Scheme in Bengal.</p>.<p>“Whenever it comes to Central schemes like Ayushman Bharat Mamata Didi says ‘hobey na, hobey na’ (will not allow it). Mamata didi will go. Obstacles will be removed and Ayushman Bharat will be implemented in Bengal,” said Nadda. He asserted that BJP would get more than 200 seats in Bengal.</p>.<p>Wondering why the TMC supremo gets “so annoyed” with slogans of ‘Jai Shree Ram’ Nadda alleged that her reaction shows that politics and vote were more important to her than culture and tradition.</p>.<p>“It shows that for her politics and vote are more important than culture,” said Nadda.</p>.<p>Reacting to his comments senior TMC MP Sougata Roy said that " the people of Bengal are nit bothered about Nadda's diatribes."</p>
