Bride's kin hold marriage party hostage

A marriage party was held hostage by the bride’s people after the groom and his family walked out of the marriage following a tiff over some issue, police said .

As the marriage function of Neetu and Mohan Singh Barauti, scheduled for Saturday night, started a quarrel sprang up. Soon groom and his kin left the venue midway. Enraged over this, the bride side held the entire marriage party captive. The issue was resolved only after police intervened.
