With this, one can get a confirmed ticket without paying upfront, but the entire booking process has to be completed online. </p><p>Here are the conditions one should know before going for the 'Book Now, Pay Later' scheme -</p><p>1 - One has to first log into the IRCTC account, then hit the 'Book Now' option. </p><p>2 - At this time, a new page opens where the passenger details along with the captcha code has to be filled in. Once the details are entered, the submit button has to be hit. </p><p>3 - Then. the payment details page opens and one can pay via credit or debit cards, while also using the BHIM UPI app or net banking. </p><p>4 - Customers wishing to use the Pay Later feature need to register first. One can do so by going to - www.epaylater.in</p><p>5 - Once a customer is registered, they get the payment option. On choosing the option, the train ticket can be obtained without any upfront cost. </p><p>Customers must, however, finish the payment within 14 days after the ticket reservation. Failure to do so will attract a 3.5 per cent service charge.
