The venue of the rally — Shivaji Park at Dadar — falls under the silence zone as per the Noise Pollution Control Rules.

Initially, the police had denied permission for the rally, but the Bombay High Court gave permission to the organisers on condition that they maintain noise decibel level. It gave permission as it has been the Sena’s tradition to hold Dasara rally at Shivaji Park for the past 40 years.
