<p>Hyderabad: With assets worth Rs 931 crore, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/n-chandrababu-naidu">N Chandrababu Naidu</a> is the richest among all the chief ministers in the country, while Telangana Chief Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/a-revanth-reddy">A Revanth Reddy</a> has the highest number of criminal cases filed against him.</p><p>Revanth Reddy has around 89 cases against him, 72 of which are serious IPC counts. </p><p>As per the analysis of the self sworn election affidavits of 31 chief ministers in the country, done by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW), Naidu has just Rs 10 crore of liabilities, and Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah with Rs 51 crore assets stood third among the chief ministers with the highest assets.</p>.India’s national electoral system needs to be fixed.<p>Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, has assets valued at Rs 332 crore, making him the second richest chief minister in the country after Naidu. The total assets of 31 chief ministers are Rs. 1,630 crore. The gender ratio appears skewed, as only two out of the 31 Chief Ministers are women.</p><p>Out of all 31 Chief Ministers analyzed in state assemblies and Union Territories, 13 (42 per cent) have declared criminal cases against themselves.
