<p>The Congress on Monday constituted a jumbo executive committee for Kerala with former chief minister K Karunakaran's children K Muraleedharan and Padmaja Venugopal finding a place in the 105-member panel. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The committee includes senior leaders A K Antony, Vayalar Ravi, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and PCC chief Ramesh Chennithala.<br /><br />It also includes party MP Peethambara Kurup, who was in a controversy recently over molestation charges brought against him by actress Shweta Menon, later withdrawn by her.<br />The committee announced by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi is an exercise aimed at accommodating all the factions of the party. <br /><br />Gandhi had identified factionalism as one of the reasons for the Congress’ rout in the assembly elections in four states.</p>
