External Affairs Minister S M Krishna termed Pakistan’s dilly-dallying over prosecution of Saeed as “a test of patience of India”.

Krishna said India had provided several dossiers to Pakistan containing all evidences against the masterminds and perpetrators of the terrorist attacks on Mumbai on November 26 last year.

The last dossier was given to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on Saturday.
“I don’t know what more they want,” added the External Affairs minister. “If they (Pakistan) have the willingness and basic conviction, they should go after those who engineered the heinous attacks on Mumbai, on India,” Krishna told reporters outside Parliament.

He said India had fulfiled its part of the obligation and now it was for Pakistan to act to bring the mastermind and perpetrator of the 26/11 to justice.

“Whatever we have provided, according to our assessment, that is evidence enough to punish them and Hafiz Saeed is one of the main brains behind the attacks,” said the External Affairs minister.

Saeed was put under house arrest on December 11 last year in the wake of the attacks on Mumbai. He was released by the Lahore High Court on June 3 last.
