Ex-Pakistan PM Imran Khan, PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's X accounts withheld in India amid tensions

The action appears to have come amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.

The X handle of former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, who is now in prison, has been withheld in India, news agency ANI reported.

Along with Khan's, the X handle of Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also been witheld.

Earlier, in India the social media accounts of several Pakistani celebrities were withheld as well.

The most recent move comes against the backdrop of heightened tensions between the two nations in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.
