Flights unaffected at Bangalore, other key airports

Flight operations continue to be normal at Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and other key airports. A spokesperson of a private airliner told Deccan Herald that only flights to the eastern sector had been affected. The shutdown is complete in West Bengal as airlines have suspended operations to the State.

The dusk-to-dawn bandh has brought public transport to a standstill in most parts of the country.
