Sources said the Indian Railways had decided to extend free Monthly Seasonal Tickets for local travel to girl students pursuing professional and vocational courses from July 1.
Girl students pursuing courses like MBBS, BE, B Tech, BBA and BCA could avail the concession, which would be admissible on Monthly Season Ticket purchased on and after July 1, sources said.
