<p>The pilot of a two-seater aircraft had a narrow escape, when he was forced to make an emergency landing, following a technical glitch, at Srinivasa camp in Kurugodu on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Ramesh Rau, the pilot, was flying from Solapur to Bangalore when the incident occurred. The flight was supposed to land in Bellary for a technical examination. On noticing the glitches even before it could reach Bellary, the pilot safely landed the flight at the camp near a rocky hill. <br /><br />The front wheel of the 270-kg aerial vehicle has been damaged, he said. It was a rare spectacle for people from nearby villages to see an aeroplane from close quarters. A large number of people gathered to see the plane being carried to Bangalore on a truck.<br /><br /> Police and the Home Guards took the necessary precautions to shift the plane.</p>
