Shivamogga: Anganwadi helper singes boy's face

Sorab (Shivamogga district): The parents of a child have complained that an anganwadi centre helper at Chikkasavi village in the taluk has singed the face of their three-and-a-half-year-old boy. The child has been treated at the general hospital in the town.

The parents have filed a complaint with the Child Development Officer of the Women and Child Development Department against Anganwadi helper Hemavati, and officials have said that action will be taken against her.
