Acting on a tip off, police conducted a raid when the trio were moving suspiciously in Malpe beach and trying to sell the statue. A case has been registered.

Some unidentified miscreants gained entry into Tikitar Factory at Industrial Area in Karnadu of Mangalore and decamped with cash of Rs 3,99,900 between Monday and Tuesday morning.
