<p>Kalaburagi: A gang of four armed robbers barged into a goldsmith’s workshop brandishing weapons and looted 800 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 50-60 lakh in Saraf Bazar here on Friday afternoon.</p>.<p>The masked robbers entered the shop situated at the first floor of a complex in the crowded Saraf Bazar, and threatened the goldsmith Moti at gunpoint.</p>.<p>They tied up the goldsmith, gagged him with a tape before fleeing with gold ornaments worth Rs 50-60 lakh. The robbery was caught on CCTV cameras installed in the workshop.</p>.<p>Five special teams have been constituted to nab the robbers, Kalaburagi City Police Commissioner Sharanappa S D told reporters.</p>.<p><strong>Forensic experts</strong></p>.<p>The dacoits were also wearing caps along with the mask. The sniffer dog, fingerprint experts and forensic experts have collected the information after thorough inspection of the workshop.</p>.<p>Meanwhile, the adjacent shop owners claimed that they rushed to the shop when its owner started screaming and saw his hands and legs tied.</p>.<p>The incident has triggered a panic among the traders in the area. They urged the police to nab the robbers and take up measures to ensure such incidents are not repeated.</p>.<p>The Brahmapur police station officials have registered a case and investigation is underway. </p>
