In the budget, Rs 50 crore has been earmarked for the rehabilitation. Those who have lost the job will be trained in diary, honey extraction etc. The plan is to make them self-employed.

In all, Rs 50 crore will be given as loan to the beneficiaries and the rest Rs 50 crore will be given as subsidy.

Referring to the Morarji schools, the minister said that PU classes have been started in three of these schools in the current academic year in three districts. Under this pilot project, only PCMB and PCMC courses are being offered. There are plans to offer PU education in all 380 Morarji schools in the next year, he added.
