B Y Vijayendra accuses Siddaramaiah, DKS of planning to provide houses to 'illegal immigrants', warns protest

Bengaluru: BJP state president B Y Vijayendra on Monday accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy D K Shivakumar of planning to provide houses to “illegal immigrants” to get upper hand in the tussle for CM post.

Speaking at a protest rally, Vijayendra said, “It was the Congress government that demolished the houses. As soon as K C Venugopal (party general secretary) warned, Siddaramaiah is trying to provide houses to illegal immigrants to save his chair. In a bid to become CM, Shivakumar made Venugopal warn the CM".

He said 38 lakh people had applied for houses and this government had not provided a “single house”.
