Three Congress MLAs from Ballari district on Monday urged the party top brass not to allow Municipal Administration Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi to interfere in Ballari DCC affairs.

MLAs Tukaram (Sandur), Bheema Naik (Hagaribommanahalli) and Ganesh (Kampli) met AICC Karnataka in-charge General Secretary K C Venugopal, and complained against Ramesh Jarkiholi.

"Leaders from other districts should not interfere in the party affairs in Ballari district and the party should decide as to whom it should make Minister among the MLAs," Tukaram told reporters.

Earlier, Ramesh Jarkiholi reportedly urged the party top brass to make his aide Nagendra, an MLA from Bellary Rural, as the Minister.
