<p>Bengaluru: <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/bengaluru-police">Bengaluru police</a> are likely to appeal the bail granted by the High Court to murder accused Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and others.</p><p>“Efforts are underway to appeal the bail in the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/supreme-court">Supreme Court</a>,” Bengaluru police commissioner B Dayananda said. “A proposal on the same is being submitted to the Karnataka government.”</p><p>Darshan, his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 others were charged by the Bengaluru police in the murder of Renukaswamy from Chitradurga. Renukaswamy’s mangled body was found disposed of near a stormwater drain in Sumanahalli on June 9.
