6-hour power cut; Bescom work affects several areas in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Several parts of Bengaluru faced power outages for over six hours on Sunday, causing inconvenience to residents.

Bescom said the disruption was due to scheduled maintenance on the 31.5 MVA power transformer 2 at the 220/66/11 KV Hoodi station.

Areas affected included Garudacharpalya, RHB Colony, Singayyanapalya, Gayathri Layout, Brindavan Layout, Hoodi Main Road, Om Shakti Layout, and Muneshwara Temple Road.
