9 from State bag ranks in SOF contests

Nine students from the State were felicitated at a programme organised here on Sunday, for bagging international rank one in the various competitions of Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).

The rank one holders are - Divya Ravi from Sri Kumaran Children’s Home and Roshan Roy from National Public School. They won a scholarship of Rs one lakh each - in the International English Olympiad.

Varsheni Vijay from Vibgyor High School won a laptop in the National Cyber Olympiad, Agnipritam Nag from the Frank Anthony Public School won a laptop in the International Mathematics Olympiad, Debeshee Das from Bethany High School and Aryaman Neelkantan won a laptop each, in the National Science Olympiad.

Among the rank two holders - Neha Upadhya from Vidya Niketan School won a scholarship of Rs 50,000 in the International English Olympiad and Karthik Chandra from National Public School won a scholarship of Rs 50,000 in the National Cyber Olympiad. International rank three holder - Agastya Samay Rana from Inventure Academy - won a laptop in the International Mathematics Olympiad. As many as 177 winners were felicitated on the occasion.
