Starring Anu Prabhakar, Pareekshe tells the story of the atrocities and discrimination meted out against the most oppressed class of our society, the untouchables.

Anu Prabhakar plays the role of Bangari, a woman from the lower caste who is subjected to all sorts of oppression at

Devarakere.  Cast alongside are Vinaykumar, Muni, Siddharaj Kalyankar, Shantamma and Master Kiran. Enagi Balappa has done a special role.

The film has music by Hemant Kumar while lyrics are by Geethapriya. Based on Ravindra’s story and Seetaram Karanth’s screenplay, the film has completed a 14-day schedule at Bendigeri, Annigeri and Gajapathi near Belgaum. Recording is on and producer Sanjay Patil wants to release the film as soon as possible.
