<p>Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has suspended four more revenue officers for dereliction of duty while conducting the Schedule Castes (SC) survey. On Friday, the BBMP had suspended two officers on the same grounds.</p><p>Recently, many citizens had complained that the surveyors had stuck the 'survey completed' stickers to houses even without speaking to the residents. </p>.Karnataka: Scheduled Caste survey a ‘govt-sponsored’ scam, says BJP.<p>As per the instructions, enumerators were expected to visit every household in Bengaluru and speak to the occupants before fixing stickers on the houses as a mark that the house had been covered.</p><p>However, according to the suspension orders, one of the officers from Hombegowda Nagar in the South zone had pasted stickers on gates and doors without speaking to the owners to ascertain their caste, which is a key component of the survey. Hence, the officer was suspended.</p><p>In Govindarajnagar, West zone, the revenue officer was suspended for failing to cover at least 50 houses in a day and for pasting stickers by only speaking to residents of the ground floor and skipping the survey of other residents in a housing complex.</p><p>Two other officers from Kengeri and Mathikere were also suspended on similar grounds.</p>
