Bhakti March from Kaiwara to Tirupati

As part of the grand finale of the year-long celebrations of Sri Ramanuja birth millennium, organised by Sree Yogi Nareyana Mutt, Sreekshetra Kaiwara in Chikkaballapur, a Bhakti March has been organised from Kaiwara pilgrim centre on April 20. The march will conclude at Tirupati on May 1.

A special function has been planned by Sri Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Srinivasa Manngapuram on May 1 at 8.30 am. The event will be presided over by TTD chairman Chadalavada Krishna Murthy and addressed by Dharmadhikari Dr M R Jayaram, head of M S Ramaiah Group of Institutions.

Jayaram will lead the march, which will pass through 127 villages, covering a distance of 185 km. Over 1,000 devotees will sing non-stop bhajans during the 12-day march.

Jayaram said the millennium celebrations conducted by Sri Kaiwara Mutt will spread the message of universal love, peace and harmony.
