Any major movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan or Akshay Kumar typically generates gross collections of Rs 35-40 crore in the overseas market.

The Gulf, US and UK together, account for over 70 per cent of the overseas  collection for any Bollywood film. Of this, West Asia’s contribution has always been amongst the top. No wonder Bollywood is worried over the Dubai debt crisis as the industry’s films do very well in Dubai.

Sources say that the Dubai premiere of upcoming Bollywood film Paa, starring the Bachchan duo and Vidya Balan, has been already put on hold.
