BWSSB chairman asks sewage treatment plants to complete ongoing works in Bengaluru within deadline

Bengaluru: BWSSB Chairman Ramprasat Manohar V on Wednesday directed officials to ensure that the ongoing works at the new sewage treatment plants (STP) are completed within the set deadline.

Manohar, who inspected the ongoing works at multiple sites, warned the officials that action would be taken against them if the works are not completed within the stipulated time.

Expressing his dissatisfaction over the works at the Mylasandra STP, he asked the officials to finish the works by December-end.

Works at the Vrishabhavathi Valley have been given a March 2026 deadline.
