<p>Students from different colleges across the City poured into the premises of the college as they looked forward to taking part in an array of competitions. Colleges like Mount Carmel College, Christ University, Kristu Jayanthi, CMR, New Horizon, St Joseph’s College of Arts and Science and St Aloysious College were some of the colleges that actively took part in the fest. <br /><br />The fest, which took place over a span of two days, included an array of events like Indian Classical Dance, Ice Breakers, Indian Theme Dance, Beat Boxing, Western Dance, Western Acoustics, Personality, Masquerade Art Walk, Cartooning, Quiz Prelims and JAM on day one.<br /><br /> While day two saw Mad Ads, Clash Of The Unions, Indian Non Theme Dance, Indian Music, Street Dance, Electric Heels, Battle Of The DJs, Pictionary, What’s The Good Word, Air Crash and Treasure Hunt. The grand finale of the event was a rocking performance by the Bangalore-based band ‘Dark Desolation’, which was enjoyed by one and all. In between, the students presented many entertaining song and dance acts as well.<br /><br />Some of the most popular events, were the ones that were held on stage during the latter half of both days. On the first day, events like Personality (Mr and Miss Scintillation), Western Dance and Masquerade Art Walk (which saw the students walk the ramp) were greatly enjoyed by the students. Gautam from Christ University was declared as Mr Scintillation while Miss Scintillation was Trishika from JNC. Western Dance was won by the girls of Mount Carmel College while Jyoti Nivas College won the Masquerade Art Walk. The overall winners were the students of Christ University. <br /><br />Said Trishika, who won the title of Miss Scintillation and was also one of the main organisers of the fest, “Organising the fest was a fantastic experience. In the beginning, we were a bit tense as we had a couple of new events this time, like Electric Heels. But by the end of it, everything went on well and it was just an awesome experience.”</p>
