Three officials will assume office in the State Information Commission on Monday.
While N C Srinivas will assume charge as the chief information commissioner, S M Somshekar and K P Manjunath will take charge as information commissioners. Though the state government had appointed these officials on March 23, retired police officer Mohammed Vazeer Ahmed had approached the high court regarding the appointments. The court had stayed the order following the petition, which was lifted
recently.
Governor Vajubhai Vala will administer the oath to the information commissioners at the Raj Bhavan on Monday.
