According to the chief minister, the gold medal winners will get Rs 10 lakh, silver medalists Rs 7 lakh and bronze winners Rs 5 lakh.
The CM announced the cash prize at a programme in Bangalore on Friday. He said the sportpersons would be felicitated and cash awards would be handed over at a function to be held in a few days.
