According to the police, Rajkumar (19) and Vikki Kumar Gupta (19), both from Jariya village in Dhanbad district in Jharkhand, were arrested at a shop in the City Market complex when they were trying to circulate the notes.
The police recovered the notes worth Rs 1.86 lakh of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 denominations.
