Mistletoe Masala’, an annual food festival was held recently at Jyothi Nivas College, Koramangala.

The fest was a jubilant celebration where a lot of students streamed out of their classrooms and enjoyed the wide range of eclectic dishes present at ‘Mistletoe Masala.’ The degree students from every class came together to create innovative dishes that were served to the rest of the college.

 Teachers and students
indulged in their favourite treats including chaats,
pastas, cupcakes and brownies. Most of the stalls had a perfect balance between Indian and Continental cuisines. Participating in this sort of an event for the first time got a lot of students excited. Khushbu, a first year degree student described the event as an amazing experience.

Rosaline Gomes, from the Psychology Department said, “There is more opinion and variety in terms of creativity and choice of food.”  The fest did not stop simply with food as  the students had set up a photo booth where people were allowed to click pictures.

The final year students of the Media and Communications department set up a ‘CE Club’, a separate space where students could dance to some exciting music.
The proceeds of the event went to charity and the day was proof of the vigorous hardwork and effort that the students had put in.
