<p>Bengaluru: Kannada actor <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/darshan">Darshan Thoogudeepa</a>, his friend Pavithra Gowda and five others will be produced before the trial court in Bengaluru after the Supreme Court cancelled their bail on Thursday. </p><p>Darshan and the others were granted bail last year after their arrest in the brutal murder of Renukaswmay from Chitradurga in June 2024. The State government had moved a special leave petition before the Supreme Court challenging the bail granted by the Karnataka High Court. </p>.Renukaswamy case: SC to pronounce order on Aug 14 on Karnataka govt's plea against bail to actor Darshan.<p>As the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/supreme-court">Supreme Court </a>cancelled the bail, Darshan, Pavithra and others will be detained by the police and produced before the trial court, a top police source told DH. </p><p>"They have to be produced before the trial court that has to remand them back to prison," the source said. </p><p>Sources told DH that Bengaluru police personnel have been dispatched, and officers have reached the residence of Darshan and Pavithra in Bengaluru's RR Nagar. They are also awaiting a copy of the Supreme Court order. </p><p>They are yet to be detained as their whereabouts remain unclear at this time.</p><p>The actor is likely to be sent back to the central prison in Ballari, where he had been languishing for several months before being released on bail. He was moved to Ballari from the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru after photographs of him were leaked where he was seen smoking and hobnobbing with notorious criminals. </p><p>Apart from Darshan and Pavithra, the SC set aside the bail granted to co-accused Nagaraju R, Anu Kumar alias Anu, Lakshman M, Jagadeesh alias Jagga, and Pradoosh S Rao alias Pradoosh.</p>
