However, the contractor failed to meet monthly milestones, and the project was far from completion, prompting the civic body to recommend contract termination.</p>.<p>Subsequently, Reddy held a meeting with BBMP engineers and the contractor to address the issues. The contractor raised concerns about delays in receiving materials and segments prepared by the previous construction firm.<br />To resolve the issue, the contract period has been extended by one year.</p>
