Allemari, directed by debutante Santhu, revolves around this story. The film, focusses on the simple lifestyle of a nomadic group, which moves from one town to the other working at construction sites. “Yogi plays a nomad who has a lot of dreams. And the minute he meets anyone, he immediately starts imagining how his life would be with that particular person in his life,” explains Santhu.

Portraying this onscreen sounds challenging but Santhu says the entire movie is run by the screenplay. Having worked on it for a long time, Santhu says that he is confident about the screenplay and believes the message will come across beautifully.

The film was recently launched in the City and a dream song, starring Radhika Pandit and Yogi, has already been shot. “In a couple of weeks, we will finish almost 40 per cent of the talkie portion as well. I am blessed to have such talented actors on the sets as they make things even more easy,” he adds.

Giving the film a more realistic touch, the crew has been busy shooting in the slums of Bangalore. “The protagonist stays in a slum so we actually shot the film in many slums in the City. Looking at some of the rushes, I am loving the colour and feel these slums add to the film,” says Santhu, who will be shooting a majority of the film in the City itself.
