I-T officials raid dry fruit outlets in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Officials from the Income Tax Department on Thursday raided prominent dry fruit outlets and food manufacturing plants in the city. The raids were also held in the houses of the owners of the outlets and manufacturing plants.

The separate teams of IT officials launched the raid over allegations of tax evasion, sources said. Raids were held in Rajajinagar, Chickpet and a few other parts of the city.
