It's not just about winter wear

With two stores in the City at Esteem Mall and New BEL Road, the brand opened a new store in Jayanagar this month.

SK Sharma, the business head who operates out of this store, says, “It is a brand for youngsters. But it’s not restricted to just them.It has something for everyone. Since Monte Carlo is known for its winter wear, this time we considered making clothes for the summer.” 

About the jeans, he says, “Our denim wear starts at Rs 999 and goes up to Rs 2,100. It’s extremely reasonable when compared to the other brands.” He adds, “Monte Carlo has become a lifestyle brand and our aim to make the customer the ultimate beneficiary.”

According to Manish Chopra, vice president – merchandising, the latest collection is inspired from nature and everyday life.

“We have three segments — men, women and boys. While the men’s collection has shorts and semi-casual shirts in unique designs, the cotton shirts are made of fabrics with an arrow finish and are available in 20 to 30 colours. There are a number of options in checks and stripes as well and denims in various washes are available.”

 The brand has come out with a range of kurtas as well. “We have kurtas in various lengths in 100 per cent linen and yarn dyes. We also have Giza cotton shirt and linen waistcoats. Then there are many types of denims including a water resistant one with special surface treatment.”

The women’s collection consists of a variety of tunics and dresses. “There are neon prints and the woven segment includes rayon printed dresses, sheer tops and fabrics of the finest designs and colours,” he explains. The boys’ segment consists of T-shirts, bermudas and capris of different colours. “Our USP is the 100 per cent cotton polo neck shirts and the Giza cotton shirts.”

While the women’s collection is eye-catching, the men’s boasts of the best in quality and style. So for the latest collection, one can head over the Monte Carlo store in Asha Arcade, Jayanagar 3rd Block.
