<p>Bengaluru: The Karnataka Lokayukta police on Tuesday morning launched surprise raids against five government officers in the state in connection with the disproportionate assets (DA) cases. </p><p>This is the second raid held by the Lokayukta police in a week's time. </p>.Lokayukta raids eight government officers, including senior bureaucrat, in Karnataka .<p>Among those raided today include N Venkatesh, Revenue Officer; and K Om Prakash, senior assistant horticulture director, both of whom work in <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/bengaluru">Bengaluru</a>. </p><p>Further details on the search and seizures are awaited. </p><p>In the raids last week, among others, the Lokayukta police had found Rs 9 crore worth of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income of IAS officer Vasanthi Amar.</p>
