Lift crashes in hospital

 
However, a brother of a pregnant woman alleged that his sister Vijayashree had to be admitted to ICU as she developed complications following the accident around 12.30 pm. He claimed that the lift wire snapped and lift came crashing down while his sister, Vijayashree, was proceeding to the second floor for consultation.  Vijayashree, a resident of Indiranagar, had come to the hospital along with her family members.
Hospital authorities claimed that Vijayashree had completed 36 weeks of pregnancy and her admission to the ICU was not related to the accident. The woman was admitted due to pregnancy-related complications.
