Now one can head back to the12th century with a mythological shadow puppetry, indulge in gastronomic  delicacies during food walks with graffiti sessions and much more as part of a two-day 'Festival of Stories' event that kickstarts on Saturday.

Organised by the 'Art in Transit' ( AIT), a public art group created by Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in collaboration with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), the event aims to bring together a diverse range of artists, artist collectives and transit and government partners under one roof and aid them to celebrate the past, present and future of Bengaluru.

Arzu Mistry, Project Lead, AIT said that the event would be held mainly in and around Cubbon Park. ``Our intention is to  engage the public and help in opening up more public spaces,’’ he said and added that there would be many interesting events including screening of movies themed on Cubbon Park.

The events will take place at Cubbon Park Metro Station, Cubbon Park, Bal Bhavan Society, Venkatappa Art Gallery and Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. The organisers said that there is no entry fee and events start from 10.30 am and ends at 7.30 pm on the two days.
