Man missing after son's murder

A 22-year-old man was bludgeoned to death allegedly by his father in Chikkajala, north Bengaluru, on Wednesday night.

Pashupathi, of Vidyanagar Cross, had fought with his father before retiring to bed. The next morning, neighbours found him murdered, police said. Pashupathi was a construction worker and had disagreements with his father over some financial matters. “We suspect the father as he is missing,” said the inspector of Chikkajala police station, adding that the man’s identity was being established.
