A notice has been issued to the KR Puram traffic inspector Mahesh Kanakagiri for being absent when Home Minister G Parameshwar’s convoy passed near KR Puram railway station on Saturday.
“Parameshwara was going to his residence from Kolar. His convoy got stuck in the traffic near K R Puram railway station around 8 pm. Neither the inspector had directed his staff to regulate traffic nor was he at the spot though he had prior information on the home minister taking that route,” a police officer said. It is said that he was regulating traffic at Doddanekundi.
